We are committed to preservation and revitalization of Historic Gettysburg.

Preservation and revitalization projects require significant work behind the scenes gathering the public, coordinating grant funding and providing the project leadership necessary to achieve community-wide improvements. Grants rarely offer funding for operational costs. We need your help. Without Main Street Gettysburg, the work to improve the physical attractiveness of our town for the benefit of our residents, visitors, and business owners would not exist.

We hope you can support our mission financially through a tax-deductible gift.

community perspective

Gettysburg is a special place - the most famous small town in America.   Fortunately for all of us, the historic significance and 'small town feel' of Gettysburg has been painstakingly preserved for 150 years.  It is that historic character, along with our agricultural businesses and educational institutions, that attracts two million tourists a year - and has made Gettysburg a highly desirable place to live for both retirees and millenials.   Business are moving to Gettysburg to take advantage of the business generated by tourists and residents alike.  And the work of Main Street Gettysburg is critical to keep that legacy alive and well.
