GETTYSBURG WELCOME CENTER will provide a centrally located hub for visitor information and public restrooms, addressing a long-standing need and setting a new standard for the visitor experience. Construction is fully funded and will begin in March 2026, with its grand opening in August 2026. Your donation will support the endowment fund for its operation.
BALTIMORE STREET PROJECT (Gettysburg Gateway Connectivity Project) will redesign the corridor from Lincoln Square to the National Cemetery, investing in underground infrastructure, ADA access, sidewalks, traffic calming, and public gathering spaces. Currently in the Design and Engineering Phase - fully funded! Your donation will help provide match funds for construction grants.
HISTORIC PATHWAYS BRICK PROGRAM provides the opportunity to add your name to the sidewalks of the most famous small town in America! Orders are taken year-round. Installation in September. Your donation supports Main Street Gettysburg’s mission of economic development and historic preservation.
FROM THE GROUND UP is a grass-roots volunteer effort to help keep Gettysburg's downtown clean. From April to November, faithful volunteers meet every Monday morning between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. to pick up trash and debris from the streets of Gettysburg. They also organize extra clean up days following special events or holiday weekends.
A GETTYSBURG CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL provides free attractions and activities to draw residents and visitors to downtown Gettysburg on the first weekend in December. With your support, we will continue to develop this family-friendly event that serves our community, businesses, residents, and visitors!
